BoSho 2018 had great weather, if challenging trail conditions in places. An impressive 118 runners finished the marathon-length course (or more). No course records fell, but after accounting for disqualifications under newly established drug testing protocols, three runners achieved times under 4 hours. Quincy O'Connor, Nick Sourlos, and Collin Anderson filled the men's podium and made it look easy. Improving upon the American women's accomplishments at the Boston Marathon this year, American women took all three top slots in the Salt Lake foothills, with Emily Sullivan, Jennilyn Eaton, and Nicole Rasmussen finishing in that order. Ruby, expertly guided by Payton Schiff, easily captured the canine category win, but not the course record.
Many thanks to volunteers John, Brian, Bob, Dave, Carter, and RunnerDee who make it possible year after year. We look forward to seeing you for the 20th edition in 2019.
